During a routine spring maintenance visit, we discovered a leak in the AC unit serving our upper floor. Since the unit was 25 years old, replacing it made more sense than repairing it. We got several quotes, and JBD stood out. Not only were they the most competitively priced, but they were also the most straightforward in explaining our options. We never felt pressured or oversold. Installation day went smoothly from start to finish. Jim and his crew were courteous, knowledgeable, articulate, and easy to work with. They took careful precautions to protect our home throughout the process, and Jim was patient and happy to answer questions as the work progressed. He even took the time to clear a clogged drain on our downstairs condenser that was leaking on the basement floor, a nice bonus that solved an annoying problem for us! The job was completed in a single day, and we now have a quiet, efficient system. From the first phone call to the final handshake, we were very happy with our experience with JBD Air Conditioning & Heating Services and would recommend them without hesitation.

JBD is wonderful to work with. Always professional and responsive. We had a late day emergency and Jim was done for the day on his way home, but he detoured over to our house and made a potentially big problem really small. This was late on a Friday. JBD cares about their customers and provide quality, reliable, outstanding service at a fair price. What more can you ask for?

We recently had a new heating system installed and chose to add central A/C. We chose JBD after Jim had come to our home to look at the job. He was very thorough, explained things very well in a way we could understand, and answered our questions. He was polite and friendly and made us feel very comfortable about our decision to add A/C-a considerable expense. We chose JDB after soliciting several estimates from other companies. JBD's pricing was very reasonable and, having read the reviews for the brand he proposed and we chose, I knew we were making a good decision. The work was scheduled to take place over 2 days, 7/1 and 7/2. We were informed and confirmed by by the office so we knew the project date was right on target. Jim and his assistant, Dominic, arrived early and worked very hard for 2, long days! They were meticulous in preparing and protecting the floors and carpeted staircase with quilted fabric dropcloths--the kind typically used by moving companies to protect furniture. This was important to us as the basement floor is new and in pristine condition. They were meticulous at cleaning up when the job was completed. Upon completion, Jim explained and showed us the various parts of the new system, and also showed us how to operate the new thermostat (the one he had recommended we replace our previous one with and we're glad we took his advice). We can't say enough about Jim, Shawna (office manager), and Dominic! All of them were wonderful to deal with; friendly, helpful, understanding, patient, professional and meticulous! We would hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services. We are thoroughly enjoying the comfort of central air! Gold stars for all of you! Thank you JBD!

I recently had the pleasure of working with JBD Air Conditioning & Heating Services, Inc to install two heat pump systems in my home. From start to finish, the entire experience was a demonstration of honesty, integrity, and outstanding attention to detail. Jim took the time to thoroughly explain the options available and gave me a clear and honest breakdown of costs. I never felt pressured into making decisions, and they ensured I understood every step of the process. Shawna helped guide me through the mass save heat loan and took care of all the rebates! It’s rare to find a company that truly values trust as much as they do, and it made all the difference. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the installation. Jim and Dominic were on site for three days straight and were meticulous in their work. They even adjusted the ducts, registers, and return for the master bedroom which previously had air flow issues. Jim went out of his way to shift the install date to prevent the house from losing A/C on the recent 100F day. The heat pumps are running beautifully and we're already seeing a substantial improvement in the master. If you're looking for a company that genuinely cares about delivering high-quality work while maintaining the highest standards of honesty and professionalism, look no further than JBD.
